本标准规定了使用聚四氟乙烯分散树脂加工而成、不含任何添加剂的螺纹密封用聚四氟乙烯（PTFE）未烧结带（生料带）的产品分类、要求、试验方法、检验规则以及标志、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于各种螺纹接头密封，特别是接触强氧化剂、化学腐蚀和化工易燃易爆密封情况下使用的生料带。
