【摘要】:Uponagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,fabricsintendedforthisenduseshouldmeetalloftherequirementslistedinTable1ofthisperformancespecification.ItisrecognizedthatforpurposesoffashionoraestheticstheultimateconsumerofarticlesmadefromthesefabricsmayfindacceptablefabricsthatdonotconformtoalloftherequirementsinTable1.Therefore,oneormoreoftherequirementslistedinTable1maybemodifieduponagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.Insuchcases,anyreferencestothespecificationshallspecifythat:x201C;ThisfabricmeetsASTMSpecificationD4114exceptforthefollowingcharacteristic(s).x201D;Wherenoprepurchaseagreementhasbeenreachedbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,andincaseofcontroversy,therequirementslistedinTable1areintendedtobeusedasaguideonly.Asnotedin5.2,ultimateconsumerdemandsdictatevaryingperformanceparametersforanyparticularstyleoffabric.Theusesandsignificanceofparticularpropertiesandmethodsarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedtestmethods.1.1Thisperformancespecificationcoverswovenflatfabricscomprisedofanytextilefiberormixtureoffiberstobeusedasliningsforwomen''sandgirls''apparel.1.2Thisperformancespecificationisnotapplicabletowovenpile,wovenfusible,fire-bondedfusible,sliver-knitpile,andsheepskinliningfabrics.1.3Theserequirementsapplytothelengthandwidthdirectionsforthosepropertieswherefabricdirectionispertinent.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarystatementpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisperformancespecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
