【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementsapplytolight-emittingdiode(LED)retrofitluminaireconversionkitsthatareintendedtoreplaceexistinglightsourcesandsystemsincludingincandescent,fluorescent,induction,andhighintensitydischarge(HID)lightsourcesinpreviouslyinstalledluminairesthatalreadycomplywiththerequirementsintheStandardforLuminaires,UL1598.Thekitsareintendedforuseon:a)Luminaireswherespecificluminairemodelorpartnumbersareidentifiedinthekitinstallationinstructions;orb)Oneormoregenerictypeluminairesthatmeetspecificcriteriaidentifiedintheinstallationkitinstructions.1.2ThisoutlineofinvestigationcontainsrequirementsthatsupplementtheluminairerequirementscontainedintheStandardforLuminaires,UL1598thatapplytotheretrofitkitandtheluminaire.1.3LEDretrofitkitscoveredbytheserequirementsincludebutarenotlimitedtoLEDlampsandarrays,LEDcontrolmodules,LEDdrivers,LEDpowersupplies,wiring,lampholders,brackets,wireconnectors,reflectors,diffusers,andotherassociatedmechanical,electrical,oropticaldevices.1.4ThisoutlineofinvestigationdoesnotcoverluminairereflectorkitscoveredbytheStandardforSupplementalRequirementsforLuminaireReflectorKitsforInstallationonPreviouslyInstalledFluorescentLuminaires,UL1598B.1.5Thisoutlineofinvestigationdoesnotcoverluminaireconversionlampsthatareintendedtoreplaceexistinglampswithoutanymodification,rewiring,orcomponentreplacementintheluminaireotherthandirectreplacementofthelampusingtheexistinglampholder.RequirementsforthesedirectreplacementlampsarespecifiedintheStandardforSelf-BallastedLampsandLampAdapters,UL1993.1.6Thisoutlineofinvestigationdoesnotcoverluminaireconversionretrofitkitsforamateurmovielights;aquariumlights,cabinetlights,decorativelightingstrings,combinationfan/IRlampsusedforheating,electricsigns,exitsigns,junctionboxesforswimmingpoolfixtures,lampadapters,low-levelpathmarkingandlightingsystems,low-voltagelandscapelighting,lowvoltagelightingfixturesforuseinrecreationalvehicles,lowvoltagemarinelighting,luminairsforhazardouslocations,luminairesforrecreationalvehicles,marinenavigationallights,marine-typefixtures,portableelectricdisplays,portablehandlamps,portableluminaires,portablesun/heatlamps,self-ballastedlampsandlampadapters,stageandstudioluminaires,submersibleluminaires,swimmingpoolluminaires,temporarylightingstrings,therapeuticlamps,tracklightingsystems,under-cabinetlightsandcord-connectedunder-cabinetlightsandunitequipmentforemergencylighting.
